Configuration to Enable/Disable Two-Factor Authentication for SFA Users 

Sales team often share their device and Logins to save time. Misplaced device, weak passwords, or app re-installs can easily lead to unauthorized access, exposing sales and distribution data. 

To strengthen account security, Botree SFA now supports configurable two-factor authentication (2FA) using OTP (One-Time Password). Only verified users can access the app, especially when logging in from a new device or reinstalling.

How It Works 

  • Admins can enable or disable two factor authentication (2FA) and choose preferred OTP delivery method—Email, SMS, or both. 
  • OTP gets triggered based on the configurable conditions like first login of the day, device change, app reinstallation, or custom intervals. 

  • The app supports SMS-based OTP auto-detection, with a 5-minute validity timer clearly displayed to the user. 

  • Users are allowed up to two OTP resend attempts; beyond that, they must restart the login process. 
  • The login interface has been enhanced with: 

-Partially masked contact details for privacy 
-Retry limits to prevent misuse 
-Real-time OTP validation, including instant feedback for incorrect entries 

Example in Action 

A salesperson reinstalls the app on a new phone. With 2FA enabled, the system detects the device change and sends an OTP to their registered email and mobile. Access is granted only after verification—keeping sensitive data safe. 

 

Retailer Dashboard Enhancement 

Sales Team often operate with limited outlet-level visibility, unable to see order history, target achievement, or MSL compliance. This slows down performance tracking and leads to missed opportunities in execution. 

To enable sharper, data-led planning, Botree SFA introduces a redesigned outlet information screen that gives your sales team the insights they need, right where they need them.

  • Enable outlet info view configuration allows clients to check between existing default view and new V1 tabular layout.

Example in Action 

A supervisor reviewing a key outlet can now instantly see that the last order was placed 10 days ago, the MTD target is underachieved by 20%, and MSL adherence is below 75%. With this view, immediate action can be taken to boost compliance and sales.

To modernize the interface and improve usability, Botree SFA now features a refreshed white theme, aligning with the latest UI/UX design principles. The update introduces a cleaner, brighter layout that enhances screen contrast, ensures visual consistency, and delivers a more intuitive experience for everyday tasks.

Purchase order (PO) in Multiple Units of Measure (UOMs) 

PO creation was restricted to a single Unit of Measure (UOM), making it difficult to manage bulk or multi-pack products efficiently. This often resulted in inaccurate entries, inconsistent data between SFA and DMS, and increased coordination effort with distributors. 

 

To improve ordering accuracy and operational flexibility, Botree SFA now supports multiple UOMs for MDSR users during PO creation. This update ensures seamless data integration with DMS, reduces manual errors, and allows users to specify exactly how each item is ordered.

How it works
 

  • Multiple UOM selection is now supported during PO creation for MDSRs 
  • The PO and PO Summary screens have been updated to display and handle selected UOMs 
  • All captured UOM details are synchronized with the Enterprise DMS, ensuring data consistency 
  • UOM fields are clearly visible and editable where required 

Note: This feature is currently enabled only for MDSR users and may not function for DSRs or company users 

Example in Action 

An MDSR placing an order for a product available in both cartons and single units can now specify the exact UOM for each item. The same information reflects accurately in the DMS eliminating the need for manual conversions or clarifications later.
