How Different Shampoo Brands are Planning Their Pack Sizes

While shampoo sales are generally analysed from a brand perspective, we looked at the pack size sales to see if there is a shift in consumer consumption. They are sold in a large variety of pack sizes, from <10 ml to over 500 ml, 43% of sales come from just 3 pack sizes.

While the contribution from small, medium, and large pack sizes is relatively stable, there is a significant change in the composition of medium packs. 

 

The top 5 shampoo brands have a marginal presence in the 201 ml to 300 ml pack sizes.
